{"id":2600,"date":"2016-06-02T12:58:16","date_gmt":"2016-06-02T12:58:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/seancrowe.ie\/home\/?p=2600"},"modified":"2016-06-02T12:58:16","modified_gmt":"2016-06-02T12:58:16","slug":"crowe-extends-his-condolences-after-the-death-of-mohamed-abdelaziz","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/seancrowe.ie\/home\/crowe-extends-his-condolences-after-the-death-of-mohamed-abdelaziz\/","title":{"rendered":"Crowe extends his condolences after the death of Mohamed Abdelaziz"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sinn F\u00e9in\u2019s spokesperson on Foreign Affairs, Se\u00e1n Crowe TD, has extended his personal condolences to the family and friends of Mohamed Abdelaziz, the secretary general of the Polisario Front.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Crowe said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI would like to extend my personal condolences to the family and friends of Mohamed Abdelaziz.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMohamed was the secretary general of the Polisario Front and the President of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe spent his life struggling for the independence of Western Sahara and for the freedom of the Sahrawi people.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI had the pleasure of meeting Mohamed in Leinster House when he visited Ireland in October 2012.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn that brief meeting we exchanged views and spoke of ways to support the struggle of Western Sahara for independence and self-determination.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt this moment of deep sadness and loss I want to extend the solidarity of Sinn F\u00e9in to the Sahrawi people in their continued struggle for self-determination and freedom.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>ENDS<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sinn F\u00e9in\u2019s spokesperson on Foreign Affairs, Se\u00e1n Crowe TD, has extended his personal condolences to the family and friends of Mohamed Abdelaziz, the secretary general of the Polisario Front.
