I encourage as many people as possible to take this small step to help end the stigma around mental health and wear the Green Ribbon during May.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDaily life brings so many stresses and strains that all go to affect the mental health of people.\u00a0 This campaign encourages us to look out for each other, talk to each other whether it\u2019s a family member or a friend because a problem shared is a problem halved.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe all need to take care of our mental health and support those around us who finding it difficult to cope.\u00a0 We need to end the stigma around mental health.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHopefully the Green Ribbon campaign will help start conversations and raise greater awareness around mental health.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>ENDS<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dublin South West Sinn F\u00e9in TD, Se\u00e1n Crowe, has expressed his support for the Green Ribbon campaign by SeeChange which encourages everybody to end the stigma around mental health by wearing the Green Ribbon.
