{"id":505,"date":"2012-09-16T01:33:45","date_gmt":"2012-09-16T01:33:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/seancrowe.ie\/home\/free-gp-care-a-pipedream-crowe\/"},"modified":"2012-09-16T01:33:45","modified_gmt":"2012-09-16T01:33:45","slug":"free-gp-care-a-pipedream-crowe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/seancrowe.ie\/home\/free-gp-care-a-pipedream-crowe\/","title":{"rendered":"Free GP  Care A Pipedream &#8211; Crowe"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<h2>Free GP\u00a0 Care A Pipedream\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0Crowe<\/h2>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Speaking after news emerged\u00a0that the promised provision  of free GP care to people on the long-term illness scheme may be delayed  by at least a year,\u00a0Dublin South West TD Se\u00e1n Crowe\u00a0 said that it\u00a0was  becoming\u00a0increasingly more like a pipedream under this Government\u00a0than  an actual\u00a0Health Policy that\u00a0will be delivered to patients<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Se\u00e1n Crowe said<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe extension of free GP care to all,  beginning with people on the long-term illness scheme, was supposed to  be a corner-stone of the Fine Gael\/Labour Coalition\u2019s health reforms.  Free GP care for long-term illness patients was promised by Minister  Reilly for 2012 but we now find that it may be delayed by at least a  year.It now looks more like a pipedream under this Government than an  actual Health Policy that will be delivered to patients.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLegal issues are the lastest obstacle\u00a0being cited for this delay.
