{"id":5116,"date":"2023-06-02T12:16:00","date_gmt":"2023-06-02T12:16:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/seancrowe.ie\/home\/?p=5116"},"modified":"2023-06-02T12:16:00","modified_gmt":"2023-06-02T12:16:00","slug":"evictions-still-on-the-increase-after-government-scrapped-eviction-ban","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/seancrowe.ie\/home\/evictions-still-on-the-increase-after-government-scrapped-eviction-ban\/","title":{"rendered":"Evictions still on the increase after Government scrapped eviction ban"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Sinn F\u00e9in TD for Dublin South West Se\u00e1n Crowe has described the latest increase in eviction notice figures from the Residential Tenancies Board as \u2018alarming\u2019 and has called on government to \u2018immediately reintroduce the ban on no fault evictions and introduce an emergency package of measures to address the escalating housing and homelessness crisis.\u2019<br><br>Teachta Crowe said: <br><br>\u201cIn the first three months of 2023, there were 2,011 Notices of Termination issued in Dublin. That means that more than 22 people and families were told that they were going to lose their homes every day. <br><br>\u201cLast Friday saw the Department of Housing release the April homelessness figures.
