{"id":276,"date":"2011-07-10T17:31:20","date_gmt":"2011-07-10T17:31:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/seancrowe.ie\/home\/kenny-falsehoods-or-another-lapse-of-memory\/"},"modified":"2011-07-10T17:31:20","modified_gmt":"2011-07-10T17:31:20","slug":"kenny-falsehoods-or-another-lapse-of-memory","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/seancrowe.ie\/home\/kenny-falsehoods-or-another-lapse-of-memory\/","title":{"rendered":"Kenny falsehoods or another lapse of memory"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<div><strong>Kenny falsehoods or another\u00a0lapse of memory <\/strong><\/div>\n<div><strong> <\/strong><\/div>\n<div>Commenting on the recording of Enda Kenny making a clear  commitment to retain the Emergency Department at Roscommon County  Hospital,\u00a0Tallaght Hospital activist Se\u00e1n Crowe\u00a0TD said:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>&#8220;The Taoiseach Enda Kenny\u00a0needs to\u00a0honour his pre election\u00a0pledge  to the people and prevent the closure of the Emergency Department at  Roscommon County Hospital.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>&#8220;Enda Kenny&#8217;s denial that he made any such commitment has now been  exposed as false\u00a0or will we hear of another serious lapse\u00a0of memory.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>&#8220;James Reilly the Health Minister gave a commitment in writing at  that time\u00a0and\u00a0the two local Fine Gael TDs also gave similar assurances  to the electorate. No doubt there will be political fallout in relation to these broken promises.
