Attack on the Clare War Memorial appalling – Sean

The Chairperson of the Oireachtas Good Friday Agreement Committee, Sinn Féin TD Seán Crowe, has said he is appalled by the vandalism of the World War 1 memorial in County Clare today.

Speaking this afternoon Teachta Crowe said;

“I am really uncomfortable at the idea of somebody going out to deliberately vandalise a memorial and this attack is appalling.

“Whatever, your view on World War 1, we should all be able have respect for memorials to people who died and memorials that mean so much to so many of our people.”
