Crowe looking forward to starting work on election commitments
Sinn Féin’s newly elected TD for Dublin South West Seán Crowe has thanked everybody who voted for him in the election and said he is looking forward to getting to work on the local and national issues upon which he based his campaign.
Speaking today Deputy Crowe:
“I am delighted to have been elected by the people of Dublin South West and I look forward to representing them once again in the Dáil.
“Sinn Féin stood on a platform of opposing the bank bailout and the cuts to social welfare and the minimum wage and we will provide strong and effective opposition to these measures in the Dáil.
“The candidates in this constituency from each political party also agreed to work together in support of Tallaght Community School and Sports and Leisure Centre and to seek a Government review of the decision on the location of the new National Children’s Hospital and the fact that there are no hospital beds for children on the Southside of Dublin.
“These are issues of huge concern locally and all candidates gave a commitment to work together on them so I am immediately seeking a cross party meeting of TDs to begin the work on these issues.”
