Irish Homeless World Cup team an ‘inspitational performance’ – Crowe
Dublin South West representative Seán Crowe TD, has congratulated the Irish team that has just competed in the 2013 Homeless Cup in Poland. Crowe said their commitment and work rate was inspirational and highlighted their huge, potential and ability
The Irish team finished 11th out of 48 teams from around the world, building on the strong performances over recent years, including a 16th place finish last year.
Deputy Seán Crowe said;
“I have been delighted over the last number of years to be associated with and attend events and competitions, including earlier this year in the An Post Club in Killtipper,Tallaght hosted by the Big Issue, the proud Irish sponsors of this team.They also hold an all Ireland tournament each year from which a panel of players are selected from which the team to represent Ireland in the Homeless World Cup is chosen”
